Another by-product of our digital mapping systems is 3D viewable file sets for use in conjunction with the DiAP Viewer and PurVIEW 3D stereo viewing systems

Stereo imagery, or model files, is invoked with exactly the same interior/exterior orientation parameters established in aerial triangulation phased and used in photogrammetic mapping. The user only needs a mouse to digitize map features (e.g., forest polygons) in the stereo model. Utilizing terrain model tracking capabilities, the cursor follows the terrain variations automatically, in stereo, wherever the user moves the mouse.
