July 5, 2009 - IMT signs reseller agreement with QCoherent
Having completed the Lower Mainland LiDAR acquisition and processing, we found many of our clients did not have any means of quickly and efficiently viewing and working with the large amount of data involved. QCoherent provides that ability and IMT is proud to offer LP360© to our clients.
QCoherent is specifically designed for LiDAR point clouds and takes advantage of the LASer (LAS) format. The tools are easy to use, and can load extremely large amounts of LiDAR data with exceptional performance.
Projects utilizing LP360© include: detailed visualizations, line of sight (LOS), the creation of derivative products like bare earth and first return DEMs, contours, and cross-sections. A sense of community and social responsibility are important values to IMT. Here are some projects we are involved in:
After the brutal wind storm that occurred in the City of Vancouver on December 15, 2006, IMT recognized the need for aerial imagery to document and assess the devastation in Stanley Park. Using a DEM supplied by the City of Vancouver, we were able to deliver stereo modules and a digital orthophoto to the Stanley Park Board of Governor's for their meeting on December 28, 2006.

Kids Up Front Foundation
IMT is proud to be a corporate sponsor of the annual Optimum-Shasta/Dundee Annual Charity Golf Tournament in support of the Kids Up Front Foundation. This charity event started in June 2004 and now serves 102 child serving agencies reaching over 75,000 kids. Over $2M worth of unused tickets were put into the hands of children that would not normally be able to participate.
